Who Am I?

“Who am I?” It sounds like a very basic question, doesn’t it? And yet, it’s one of the most powerful ones. We often feel we are sorted in life. Somewhere deep down, however, there’s always a small lingering feeling of the unknown. Every day we wake up and learn something new about ourselves. But in the middle of our busy, mechanical routines, we rarely stop to think about it. We just keep going, flowing with the flow. We grow every day—physically and emotionally. Sometimes the physical growth is quite visible… not always vertical, but horizontal (jokes apart). Growth, in whatever form it comes, is certain. Things that once brought us so much happiness don’t always hold the same value anymore. The stamina we once had for physical activities isn’t the same now. On the other hand, emotions that were once difficult to control are now handled quietly and calmly. Where doing one task felt exhausting earlier, today we manage many things at once—often without even realising our own strength. A...

Choosing Me: Journey Through Love and Confusion

“Hey Ramya, shall we go for lunch?” Dhanya asked one afternoon. Ramya hesitated. “Hmm… okay… no, I brought lunch… maybe let’s ditch it and go out… oh, why is it so difficult to find the right answer?” That small exchange captured something bigger—Ramya’s lifelong struggle with choices. Childhood: Pampered but Dependent Ramya grew up as the youngest child, adored and protected by her family. Decisions were always made for her. She was loved deeply, but in that love, she never learned how to choose for herself. When it came to her children, her household, or her office work, she was confident and decisive. But when it came to herself—what she wanted to eat, wear, or even how to style her hair—she was lost. Friendships Without Roots At school, Ramya was friendly and outgoing. She spoke to everyone, helped everyone, and was liked by all. “Ramya, can you help me with this assignment?” classmates would ask. She always said yes. But when the fun began, she often found herself stan...

A Letter to Myself: It’s Time to Come Back Home

Hi love, Yes… I’m talking to you. My sweet, tired, endlessly giving self. How have you been? Somewhere between growing up and holding everything together, you got a little lost. You used to laugh louder, breathe deeper, live lighter. You were fun. Carefree. A free spirit. Now you feel older than your age—fragile on some days, angry on others—not because you changed for the worse, but because you forgot to rest. Your mind never stops. What’s pending? What’s for tomorrow’s meal? What about the house, the kids, the work, the never-ending list? Life has become a loop: Think. Plan. Do. Repeat. And in all this… where are you? Who are you beneath the roles you play? What do you need today? How are you, really? You’ve mastered the art of taking care of everyone else. You notice the smallest needs, anticipate problems before they arise, hold space for everyone’s emotions. Somewhere along the way, you stopped offering yourself the same kindness. It’s time to loosen your grip. Not on love—but on ...

Do you have Eshwara in you ??

Image
Eashwara.. Shiva.... Rudra.. A lord who has so many names represent so many natures. Lord Shiva is the center of the universe, who can create, protects, and transforms the Universe. Every individual has this power within you.   Don't you believe that?? Well... one must!! Every human being can create his own path just by making up his mind and being sure about his goals. He can protect his desire also his well-wishers by thinking before acting or saying anything. He can transform his life just by thinking good and spreading smiles around him.  We see these very qualities in kids.  If you observe closely if a child makes up her/his mind that he needs his mother's attention either they will surely get it either by being cranky or over joyful or any way.  If you observe among siblings, they might fight as badly as possible but if any outsider tries to come in between they show "Unity is Strength".  You give some colors and paper and ask a kid to draw a to...

OM GANESHAYA NAMAHA πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™

Image
Before every work, it's evident that we pray to vighnavinashaka Ganapathi. πŸ™ It's belief that he will remove all obstacles in the way of our work make it very easily achieved and also provide us with wisdom and courage to face any difficulty.  Belief is what fills us with good or bad thoughts which results in the good or bad outcomes of our work. For example, when we were kids we used to get scared of exams. And, with that scared state of mind when we used to give exams we always ended up making extremely silly mistakes. Now also when we have any big presentation or facing any gathering if we are scared or went with some doubts it never gives that result. However when we see our kids who are just 3-6 yr olds who hardly know anything about fear and hardly have any thoughts about what will happen if the work I am doing goes wrong. But they actually excel in the work that they do, be it speaking in gathering, singing or acting, or doing any kind of circus-filled games. This cle...

Life is as beautiful as Madhubani Sketches :)

Image
TRUE!!! When you look at Madhubani art mainly 3 things come to mind Wah!! Such fantastic art Wow!! So many patterns and designs. Oh My God!! It definitely requires loads of patience and hard work.  Well, when one looks back at his/her life OR listens to one's path of life they can also think about mainly 3 following things. Wah!! what a life he has lived so many colorful events, emotions, ups, and downs Wow!! No single incident is the same as other there are so many different experiences Oh My God!! It was definitely not easy to follow that path. No one on this earth has it easy.   Don't we agree on this? we all have so many different happy, sad, experiences along the way of life till the day and still experiencing too and going to experience in the coming days as well.  Childhood itself has so many things to describe with fun, hard work, struggle, competition, adventure, no it all eagerness, do it all enthusiasm, ........ list just grows. I tried my first Madh...

One can do anything!!!

Image
IS THAT SO?? I guess if that person is brave enough or extremely innocent (sometime in this mature world known as Foolish!!!!) then he can do anything. People like us who most of the time second guess on consequences or busy self-doubting will just continue to do so. I was actually trying to complete the challenge thrown by my son for drawing (added the same picture here which we can relate to what I am trying to convey). It was a picture of a man daring a tiger. Just imagine in the real world we get scared just by seeing small insects like cockroaches or honey bee etc and can you imagine yourself to go and stand in front of a might tiger? HUH! I can not imagine such even in my dreams. So I thought maybe that man is very courageous that he has complete confidence in his wit or physical energy to make anything possible. Then I saw my 3-year-old niece and my son doing all possible kinds of the circus which we do not dare even to describe. which got me thinking, what it might be diff...
