Who Am I?

“Who am I?”
It sounds like a very basic question, doesn’t it? And yet, it’s one of the most powerful ones.

We often feel we are sorted in life. Somewhere deep down, however, there’s always a small lingering feeling of the unknown. Every day we wake up and learn something new about ourselves. But in the middle of our busy, mechanical routines, we rarely stop to think about it. We just keep going, flowing with the flow.

We grow every day—physically and emotionally. Sometimes the physical growth is quite visible… not always vertical, but horizontal (jokes apart). Growth, in whatever form it comes, is certain.

Things that once brought us so much happiness don’t always hold the same value anymore. The stamina we once had for physical activities isn’t the same now. On the other hand, emotions that were once difficult to control are now handled quietly and calmly. Where doing one task felt exhausting earlier, today we manage many things at once—often without even realising our own strength.

All these experiences—emotional ups and downs, lessons learned from different people and places, and sometimes even from our own children—shape us slowly and gently. They teach us, mould us, and help us grow.

And yet, after all this growth and learning, the question still lingers softly in the background:
Who am I?

Maybe there isn’t a final answer. Maybe it’s a question we carry with us, learning a little more each day.

And so, the search continues—quietly, humbly, and at our own pace.
