Rekindle the Child in you

  Hi,

This is my first attempt to write a blog. I have never been good with words. So let me try to write few lines though..

After a long time, I felt like drawing. Well, it's not like I was a professional artist or something. I was just able to draw pictured in my Bio- lab book neatly, in drawing class I used to draw neatly but as soon I color the same it used to look way worse than expected.

Now as the stage is set, let me proceed. Seeing my son also facing the same issue, triggered all childhood memories of me with a pencil and drawing book. Well, my son's drawings are way way better than what I could draw when I was a kid. He is just want to finish it soon so attention to detail is missing.

As I was saying seeing him draw I thought let me also give a try at a pencil sketch. I just googled for few pencil drawings to draw. It just kept me glued once I started drawing one after another.

Then I thought let me take a little complicated one and picked one from our childhood storybook "Dinakkondu Kathe" I know many can relate to this book, as Dinakkondu Kathe, Balamanagala and Chanda mama were an essential part of our childhood.

As I drew one my niece gave me another to draw and with lots of doubts, I tried that too. Well, it came out better than expected.

Now I just want to make sure to draw at least one drawing per day, obviously no use of colors.

Let me share a few of my drawings here, let me know what you guys think.
